After the IMS seminar in Singapore, we find many friends request us to start a coaching club and bring them to next level.
Since my business is web publishing. We are unable to do any large scale coaching course for public. So we will start 2 programs....

Let try to forget any internet business strategies. We look at how the offline business works around you. For example, the retailer shops around you....
There are 2 models. Model 1: Product - oriented Model 2: Traffic - oriented
Model 1: The business owner has his own product to sell. So he will find the right location to set up his shop. Right locations means "targeted traffic". Once the shop is ready, he will focus on conversion - from traffic to sales.
For this model, right location is the most critical factor of success. The right location can bring you good traffic volume which is willing to buy from you.
This model is similar to internet product sellers in Clickbank.
Model 2: The investor does not have any product. However he finds a place with good traffic, which many people are just looking for ....e.g. car accessories.
He has no idea about car accessories. So he plans to find a partner (or staff) to help him to deal with this part. He believes once the shop is ready, the traffic will flow to his shop and buy the products.
This is similar to web publishing business...at least for me. I find a good traffic source and then fit the product to this group.

It is what I really want to make "ambatch.com" to be a community site rather than my personal blog.
Recently, I am busy to make 2 corporate deals for friendearth.com. One of them is World Friend Network which is the largest private-label friend matching site in the world (serving ESPN and mail.com). We have signed an one-year contract. You will find the friend matching feature on my site very soon.
The other deal is working with Yahoo Hong Kong. (my office is in Hong Kong now, it makes sense to talk to Yahoo HK directly).
Friendearth.com is going to form a partnership with Yahoo Hong Kong. The contract will last for 3 years. Definitely it is a breakthrough of my publishing business that my company can make a deal with the internet giant - Yahoo directly.
How about Adsense? I am still thinking about it.....maybe I will ban Google Adsense from my site :-), or I will find an alterative...

I have just purchased the new version of Viral Instigator 2. It is a very dangerous software.
Knife has 2 sides. Definitely, it is like an attacking software. However, it is really a fast money building tool.
I cannot share its features here coz I am requested to sign non-disclosure agreement before download the trial version, and purchase the full version.
One of the features that impressed me is VI Blog. It's web structure is nearly 100% similar to blogger.com (amazing!)..and I find the webpages of VI Blog are indexed very fast....
I think Pete will not offer too many spots for this software...maybe 50-100...no idea about it.
Today we got a proposal to buy FriendEarth.com by venture capital. The proposed price is half million USD. However the requirement is the site must be inside Global Alexa 500.
Definitely, our site will reach Global Alexa 500. It depends on how we operate our marketing plan. However it is not necessary to sell our baby to a wrong candidate.
FriendEarth.com is a website with nearly 10000 members within 3 weeks. It still has a lot of potential to grow. Also, the traffic is huge.
Anyway, we're still looking for right candidate to manage this project :-)

Since last August, I did a very successful 1-month experiment at ambatch.com. I developed a community website which reach as high as Alexa rank 217.
After the experiment, I start an official project http://www.friendearth.com Using the same model, our site has generated at least 70K unique visitors per day and reach Alexa rank 1000below.
Not only it has generated a very good adsense income, but also attracted the local press to interview. Another good news is the largest private-label friend matching company offers a deal with me. They add their services to my site. It is similar Google offers "ads" services to myspace.com.
I am working a new formula for web publishing project. It is used for planning the development and management of a website which major income sources are "pay per click advertising" or "affiliate program"
T.R.I.P stands for Traffic & Revenue Integration Plan.
Before we start a project, we prefer to consider both traffic source, its volume plus the revenue generation model for these visitors.
Different traffic sources have different characteristics and cultures. When you are careful, you can realize some special things. For example, your site is focusing on car. However, the traffic behavior of Asia and North America are totally different. It is non-sense to promote a car search program from US to Japan.
TRIP is a very important formula to run a publishing project. This idea will be discussed in my presentation in Singapore.

I got a call from my friend living in UK. He is an Adsense starter and want to learn the underground secrets of Adsense profit.
He showed me his website which is equipped with fancy images and templates. However, he was upset that he cannot make a dime. Yep. the earning is zero.
If a fancy website could bring you big money, then all website designer (especially for the graphic design) would have been millionaire and make a lot from Adsense.
I suggest my friend to learn basic traffic generation skills. Once he can master this level, then he is ok to focus on template design which can improve click conversion.
Traffic sources are very important to the health of a website. Basically, a healthy website should have this composition: 1. Direct Acess: 30-40%. It means the visitors come to your website by inputing the domain name to the browser and bookmark. 2. Referral Link: 30%. Other websites point to your site and send you traffic 3. Search Engine Traffic: 30%. The visitors come from the search engines like Google and Yahoo.
"1" is the most important component. It relates to your brand. More people are using this method to access your site, this means your brand is bigger.
Don't rely on SEO alone (it is good, but it is just one of the strategies). Black hat strategies (building websites and backlinks) rely on SEO. When search engine updates the listings and formula, most likely your website will suffer from the changes. Your listings may disappear.
Referral traffic is more reliable than SEO but less than "direct access". However, it may be out of your control because you cannot force the other webmasters to feature your domain on their websites.
Take a look at "return traffic". A healthy website should have at least 55% of return traffic within 48 hours. This means a 1 out of 2 visitors will come back to your site.
Website Traffic Optimization (I dunno when and how I create this term, but I always use this term in front of public), is defined as the optimization process of website traffic and pageview per visit.
To bring visitors to your website, you can do it by SEO, email marketing, paid per click advertising...etc. To optimize the pageview per visit, you should take care of the content nature and website structure.
According to my research, more pageviews per visit can bring more revenue to the website....to discuss more about this topic...NEXT POST :-)

Definitely yes but suppose....
We all know the real force to drive Adsense income is your website traffic. Your traffic is generated by the content (or seo or community traffic or what else), not the template. Once your website has traffic, then "template" can help to improve conversion.
However, the template style must match the nature of the content. If you offer text content, then it is not necessary to put the "template of video page" to the site. If the template and content style do not match, then it will not improve your Adsense CTR.
Anyway.....if you cannot master the traffic generation model for your website, then no matter how sure-fire templates you have, it is totally usesless
A business model is like a map to guide you to go from zero to success.
Hey...don't overlook this part. This is a core of business. You know, many people rush to buy the sure-fire tools, find the secret traffic generation strategies....
To me, they are not the most important factors to become successful.
Model > Strategy > Tool

See...we have a lot of questions. I am studying every model. I realize one thing. When time changes, the strategy and tool are different. It is evolution. However, I find that the model will not change according to the time. That's why it is the core of business.
Just take a look at the great sport player like Tiger Woods (golf), his coach has never been ranked No.1 before. However, his student, Tiger, is consistently ranked in the top of the world.
Similar to other business coach, like Anthony Robbins, he is the private coach of John McCormack who is the Entrepreneur of the Year selected by INC Magazine. Anthony is a great coach, however he is not the expert in all business areas.
What does it means? A coach is someone who can bring you to the path of success. This is the only and most important job of a coach.
To me, I think I am a player rather than a coach. At least, I am doing what a player should do right now. Unluckily, I haven't had any business coach. Otherwise, I guess I would suffer from less errors and save a lot of money, too.
Definitely, if a coach is a former great player in the world, then his student should get much more benefits e.g. experience sharing, mind management. Like the case of the manager of the soccer team FC Barcelona, Frank Rijkaard, who was a great soccer player in AC Milan and won a lot of important competitions.

I am glad to inform you that I will speak in a series of seminars which are organized by the largest seminar organizer - (Success Resources) in Asia.
Success Resources is very famous in Asia. Several big names like Anthony Robbins, Jay Abraham, Brian Tracy, John Gray, Robert Kiyosaki (Rich Dad Poor Dad) and even former U.S. President William J. Clinton, are also contracted to this company.
"Local" internet marketing is a new topic in this industry. It means we focus on local market in a city or country.
Our experimental project friendearth.com is our white rat. This project is going to generate the traffic from Asia. However, at the start, we target the traffic sources from Hong Kong and mainland China.
For the small business owners, not many of them can afford to expand their business into global scale...e.g. logistic costs, languages, manpower..etc. For example, how a sushi store owner can send a "fresh sushi" to your home when you live in U.S.?
Like Hong Kong, it is a very small city. General internet marketing strategy does not work. If your business is in Hong Kong, and plan to setup a shopping cart to sell something, this strategy may not work. It is because this city is too small and anyone can go out to buy their target stuff easily...(too many stores around them).
The case is also true in Tokyo and Singapore....and many small cities and countries.
This is the reason why we test how to combine online marketing model into an offline business. The role of your website is to generate traffic, pass the information to the surfers like "where is your company or store", "what kinds of the services you provide?", "price". Definitely it is good for them to leave their name, email and phone number to your site.
