I am happy and surprised, my ambatchdotcom seocontest googlepages entrie is now first on google.

Now the question is for how many time ? Well I think google is updating results now, and I do not thing my entrie will stay at top for a long time, so I benefit from this short occasion to announce it .

It seems this earthquake gone lol, and I think that google want to make some exciting in our contest ^_^.

Anyway I checked Google data center again just right now, and here is the latest top ten :-

Anyway, I discover something, but I am still investigate about it. someone "without say his name" start to cloaking the sites, and I think this what made the ranking changes like that.

You have made a couple of posts before saying "I will give more information when I find more"

but then you never follow up on the post...

We will see, but I am not expecting you to come back and deliver some big secret like you have promised...

Anyway, I for one am not cloaking...

No black hat stuff from me (just a little gray hat keyword stuffing)

I am trying to prove that good old hard work can still get a site listed without worrying about whether you are going to disappear one day.

Unless I do something silly, I don't expect Google to drop our site from the top 10... because I haven't given Google any reason too!

I think our little quake last night was Google forshadowing change... the .name site has done well, and I am 3 positions higher than I was 2 days ago, so I am still happy... and it looks like Esteban suffered the most dropping half way down the top 10.

I expect the top 10 to become a little more liquid over the next few weeks

haaa, I am really so sorry m.valiant, but I am really so busy this days and for that I don't follow-up most of my posts.

Don't be worry I will share a lot of things after this contest over. Sure there are some secrets I can't say it now, but sure after this contest over I will start to say a lot of secrets.

Also I don't want to share a wrong analysis or wrong idea. I want to be sure %100 from my analysis before I share it. I don't want to hurt someone site because he listen to my words.

About the cloaking you don't have to do it by your self, there are a new ways that enables your competitors to cloaking your site in order to ban it from Google. Not all black-hat strategies gives you the ability to get your site a higher rank, but there are a lot of black-hat strategies enables you to crash your competitors.

Anyway, today Google algorithm is more smarter than before and can detect if you made that by your self or another guy just want to ban your site "well in most cases".

I agree with you that the top ten sites will change a lot of times in the next days, because most of the players "not all of them" using short term optimization. I mean your site will get a very high rank but for little hours or two days at most, then your site drop down again.
