SEO contest in 2006 was over...
Now I am thinking the best date of WSC 2007..
Personally, I plan to organize a new challenging event...most likely I will design a new keyword which is not English...
So what is it? Let's keep it secret.
I hope everyone will suggest the best period of WSC 2007.
I suggest "April". The event will last for 1.5 - 2 months. How about you?

Actually, if you treat your business as serious as playing the World SEO Championship, then everyday is SEO contest.
In fact, it is.
SEO is one of the ways to generate traffic. You have a lot of methods. Focusing on a single way is a highly dangerous practice.
Try to diversify your traffic generation strategies.

Yes agree.
I plan to make it as special as possible. I mean the game rules.
I am planning to use an non-English keyword, maybe Japanese. So I will recruit the English SEO VS Japanese SEO.
We can see something there....most likely, English SEO gets the advantage of pagerank, and backlinks from English page. For Japanese SEO, their weakness is pagerank.
Definitely it is just a proposal. I would do an experiment before we launch the new event.

Now I know that you are Tiger that I knew when we were contestants of ambatchdotcom seocontest. We are old friend, but in the different new SEO contest now
Kelvin, I agree with Tiger's suggestion.
If you don't mind it's better if your WSC 2007 will start in the beginning or in the middle of May 2007 because my friends and I now are competing in globalwarming SEO Contest until May 1st, 2007.
But we enjoy SEO contest whenever you launch
